A Closer Look at Classes and Weekly Bible Studies
Our Sunday morning adult classes vary throughout the year and are designed to help folks develop a deeper understanding of the Bible and God's purposes for our lives. These classes run on Sunday mornings from 9:30AM to 10:30AM. Nursery is provided during these electives. Some examples of the classes we offer are:

WOMEN'S MINISTRY
Praise the Lord for all that our ladies do here at FBC. As you will read there are several opportunities to get involved with the ladies in our church. Below you will find a variety of activites, classes and groups that meet during the week or monthly and each one is a very important part of the entire ministry of First Baptist Church of Williams. We encourage you to come and see where you would like to get plugged in and join with this wonderful church family.
Handmaidens: this group of ladies meets the last Tuesday of each month from January thru October. All other special meeting times are announced. For example this year there is a meeting on December 6th and will be held at the home of Mary Hurt. The meetings start at 6:30pm. Child care is provided for each meeting.
The purpose of Handmaidens is to:
Reach others for Christ through community projects. These projects include: blanket collection for the needy, hats, scarves and mittens collection for Christmas and holiday ddistribution as well as collecting laundry supplies for Hope Cottage. As other needs arise they are discussed and decisions are made as to what can be taken on. All women are invited to attend and join in to be a part of this unique and special ministry. Every meeting includes a potluck meal and a secret sister activity and of course a time of Bible study and prayer.
