Welcome to First Baptist's home on the World Wide Web! We're delighted you've stopped by to visit. At FBC we believe that every individual has been created by God to live life with purpose and that purpose can only be found in the person of Jesus Christ.
Our worship services are designed to lead people into the presence of God so that we may celebrate Who Jesus Christ is and how He has transformed our lives. We hope that you will consider joining us for a celebration of new life on Sunday mornings. I know you will find yourself right at home among our warm and caring family. If you have any questions about our worship service, ministries or small group opportunities, please feel free to contact us via email or telephone. May you find the joy and peace that God extends to all.
Our church is located at 7th Street & Grant (directly South of the Safeway grocery store).
You can reach us Monday thru Friday, 9AM to 3PM. ![]() please check out the above link to find out more about our exciting new youth ministry program and about Pastor Dan

PLEASE LET THESE BEAUTIFUL MESSAGE MINISTER TO YOU.
An interesting view on going to church:
A Church goer wrote a letter to the editor of a newspaper and complained that it made no sense to go to church every Sunday. ‘I’ve gone for 30 years now,’ he wrote, ‘and in that time I have heard something like 30,000 sermons. But for the life of me, I can’t remember a single one of them. So, I think I’m wasting my time and the pastors are wasting theirs by giving sermons at all.’
This started a real controversy in the ‘Letters to the Editor’ column. Much to the delight of the editor, it went on for weeks until someone wrote this clincher: ‘I’ve been married for 30 years now. In that time my wife has cooked some 32,000 meals. But, for the life of me, I cannot recall the entire menu for a single one of those meals.
But I do know this… They all nourished me and gave me the strength I needed to do my work. If my wife had not given me these meals, I would be physically dead today. Likewise, if I had not gone to church for nourishment, I would be spiritually dead today!’
When you are DOWN to nothing...... God is UP to something! Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible! Thank the Lord today for all our physical and spiritual nourishment.
